About Lakinda
I’ve been a math teacher for 10 years. Every year I become more passionate about what I do. The impact I make on my students is what makes my heart smile. I’ve had students who didn’t like math, and/or hated it but after taking my class, they’ve grown a like/love for math because of the way I explain the concepts to them that makes them understand. I am confident that I will help you become a better math student.

My lessons will state the objective, the criteria for success, and a teacher model for the student to observe before they practice and have questions. After the teacher model, the student will have guided practice. After guided practice, the student will work independently and I will provide feedback. After independent practice, I will give the student an exit ticket that will show me how much they’ve understood the concept.
