About Anthony
I received my degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and since two of those years were during COVID, I had to come up with unique ways to understand the concepts I was being taught. After college, I worked as a Sales Engineer for a radio company in Westwood and traveled the country training members of the Navy on how to construct complex networks using the radios. I would like to parlay the skills I learned while at that job to math and physics education.

My approach varies depending on the learning style of the student. I like to begin a lesson by explaining the topic in three different ways. First, I will explain the concept and converse with the student to get an understanding of how they interpret it. Next, I will guide the student through a problem set while explaining the reasons behind each step. The third step involves interpreting the problem through visual learning. I found math and physics to make more sense when the foundation is drawn out on a whiteboard or piece of paper, and find that many students make sense of topics this way as well.
