About Roan
I’m an electrical and mechanical engineering student at the University of Edinburgh. I’ve also undertaken an optional course in physics. I grew up in the French system but have also studied the English and Scottish school systems which has given me different teaching methods to adapt to each student.

I have previous experience working for Edinburgh Tutors in Maths and Physics. During my years in secondary education, I’ve had experience tutoring younger students in mathematics during after-hours. These were students looking to catch up on missed concepts, get ahead in class, or simply gain more confidence in their abilities. In addition, I have also worked as a sailing instructor for two years to students of different ages.
I am a patient and understanding tutor who is committed to making complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for students of all levels. I recognise that each student has distinct needs, and I tailor my teaching approach to meet those needs. As a student that has switched between educational systems, I understand the different struggles. Whether you need assistance with a specific assignment, assistance in preparing for an exam, or want to improve your overall understanding of a subject, I am here to help.
