About Fernando
The student is the center of the process; I value the all the knowledge already acquired in previous experiences, with or without the instrument. From the questions raised, I try to base myself on different methods, combining perspectives with the student context and practical needs. I have a wide library of references with many examples, exercises, classical methods and new publications of double bass and music in general, which add to the musical development and overcoming possible obstacles. I can teach classes for beginners and advanced.

I have a degree in Music from UNESP and for 10 years I have been researching different teaching practices, specifically about teaching and learning new musical instruments / languages. In addition, I have a experience with groups, duos, trios and formations of jazz and Brazilian music, Big Bands and Symphonic Orchestras. I can help you with the technique of the instrument (both bow and pizzicato, eletric bass), theoretical questions, sight reading, harmony, improvisation, preparation for tests, entrance exams and contests.
