About Mia
I am in my senior year of becoming a certified teacher. I have worked with kids since I was 15, and have had one on one work with helping peers with essays, working with 4th graders on their writing skills, and have taken a few creative writing classes. I love to read, write, and be creative, so this is right up my alley!

These lessons are catered towards what you want to learn! I believe in the celebration of learning, so we could set up some sort of reward system (verbal praise, digital stickers, etc.).
A simple lesson idea could be a grammar lesson over using "I" or using "me". With a guided lesson first ran by me, then virtual practice, and finally applying it to our everyday writing.
What sets me aside from other tutors is my patience. I have worked with students as young as 5 to as old as 17 on writing practice, and understand the vast range of skills that comes from that. My goal is to be a teacher, so I have learned to work with students different learning needs. My goal is to accommodate to you!
