About Brendan
I am a student at Queen's University studying music and math in education. I plan to teach music and math at the intermediate/senior level. I have been teaching and tutoring math since 2013 and I have been teaching music since 2013. I have ample experience in teaching and tutoring. I have an extensive teaching and tutoring background, working with students of all ages through physical and virtual environments. My teaching style is catered to the individual, meaning I get to know the student before starting. I help students not only with their immediate learning challenges, but I provide them with tools and skills to teach themselves. My sessions are quite flexible, and I have the students focus on healthy learning. This means finding methods of learning that fit their needs, even if it goes against the grain of traditional learning in a classroom setting. I am willing to travel if the distance is within 20km of my location.
