About Jill
I am a wife and mom to a spirited teenager and two dogs. I have three advanced degrees (EdD, MBA, EdM) and a lot of experience across the education industry, but I've always drawn my energy from students. I started teaching right out of college and some of my best memories are from the classroom. Teaching brings me joy!
I am excited to get to get to know you and support your educational needs. I am very easy-going, fun, and teach using a strengths-based approach. I believe that the only dumb question is a question not asked.

I am an experienced hands-on educator, and my philosophy is that all students learn in different ways. The key to success is tailoring instruction to individual learners and using an assets-based approach. I have experience teaching math in elementary, middle school, and adult education. The instructional methods I've used or are familiar with include: project-based learning, direct instruction/lecture, and seminar style. I have also taught ESL on a college level.
