About Jake Orlando
I am an incredibly well-traveled, young(ish) lover of music and meeting people. The world is a great place with many people who need help or someone to guide them, which is why I am here. I live in Ballina (near Byron Bay) in Australia and hit the surf almost every day. I love snowboarding and anything to do with Japanese culture. I am LGBT+ friendly and love getting to know people and their stories so far. Just be yourself and have fun is my motto. I frequent music festivals around the world and love road trips. Other than that, I am very well educated and happy to share my knowledge or receive more knowledge as we learn together.

My techniques range from 'working with what you already know' (assigning what you don't know to life knowledge) to backwards mapping (starting in the unknown and working back to you).
Each lesson runs between 45 mins to 1 hour (not to overstimulate) or more for the keen candidate.
I have been teaching for 8 years in many diverse settings and have always loved making it fun for you.
My lessons are for any age. I am Primary School based, however I have taught English to many cultures, such as Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, German etc.
I love all people and backgrounds.
