About Jack
I’m Jack, an 18-year-old maths enthusiast taking a gap year before university. Maths has always been the subject I genuinely enjoy — not just for the problem-solving, but for the elegance of how it all fits together. That passion is exactly what I want to bring to my students.
There’s something deeply satisfying about watching someone go from struggling with a concept to mastering it completely, and helping students reach grades they didn’t think were possible is what drives every lesson I give. Whether you’re aiming to pass or pushing for a 9 or A*, I’ll invest fully in helping you get there.

Most maths teachers focus on drilling techniques without ever explaining the why behind them — and that’s exactly where students fall short when exams get unpredictable. My lessons are built differently. Rather than memorising methods, you’ll develop a genuine understanding of the mathematics behind them, so you can tackle anything the exam throws at you.
Sessions run between one hour and 90 minutes, conducted entirely online, and are designed to be both engaging and stretching — pushing you further than you thought you could go, without ever leaving you lost. Each lesson is structured around your individual needs, whether that’s closing gaps, building confidence, or reaching for the very top grades.
Having recently completed my A-Levels and sat the Senior Maths Challenge, I understand exactly what students face — because I’ve just been through it myself. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students alike, and my approach combines clear explanation, targeted questioning, and plenty of practice to build the kind of mathematical thinking that actually translates into results.
