About Vale
I am an Economist and an Actuary passionate about maths and statistics. I am currently finishing my MSc. In Economics at Warwick University and living in London. I have been teaching maths and statistics privately for 10 years teaching students from all levels: Secondary school to University level.

The methodology depends on the student and the situation:
-Do you have a certain topic that you cannot understand? I am going to check if you understand a more basic concept so we can construct the knowledge from there. This way, the student will not only learn the topic but also develop a studying technique.
-Do you understand the topic but you feel uncomfortable with it? Sometimes students understand what it is about but they cannot solve the problem set, past papers or just do not feel confident with the topic. In this case I am going to propose a set of exercises to solve in the class with my guidance so the student can develop a solving technique.
-Are you constantly failing the same course? Do not worry! This is pretty common, sometimes it is just a matter of gaining confidence or demolish erroneous concepts. I am going to guide the student so they can identify where the problem is.
