About Matthew
I’m an Economics student at the University of Warwick, and I achieved an A* in A-level Maths. I have always enjoyed maths and am excited to help build other students' confidence.
During sixth form, I gained experience tutoring Year 8 students in Maths, which helped me develop a patient and clear approach. Having recently gone through GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand how stressful exams can feel, and I want to help students prepare in a calm, supportive, and effective way.

My lessons are designed for GCSE Maths students who want to build their confidence and feel more comfortable with maths.
I focus on building understanding by explaining concepts patiently and clearly, before working through exam questions together to help students feel more confident and achieve the best grades possible!
A typical lesson would last 1 hour and would be tailored towards topics that the student needs the most help with. Before each lesson I give the opportunity for students to send me topics or even specific questions they would like to work on. I am also happy to offer 30-minute lessons for students who would feel more comfortable starting with a shorter session.
I'm an economics student at the University of Warwick and achieved A* in A-Level Maths. I have also had experience tutoring year 8 students in Maths during sixth form. Having recently gone through A-Levels and GCSEs myself I understand how hard they can be but also the best ways to prepare.
