About Charlotte
I graduated from the University of Cambridge in July with a degree in Economics and I am currently on the PGCE Maths course at the University of Oxford. I've always enjoyed maths and have mentoring experience with students aged 11-18. I achieved well in my GCSEs and in my A-levels, so have experience with the courses and will be able to provide support. At GCSE, I received eight 9s and an 8. At A-level, I received A*A*A with an additional A* in EPQ. I have experience in customer service so I am approachable and easy to talk to. I've also volunteered with Girl Guiding 'Rainbows' groups previously.

I will mainly focus on talking through the areas of the course that the student is particularly struggling with. With maths, this would mean looking at practice questions together and going through them. We’d also go through practice papers in timed conditions to practise meeting the time constraints. The lessons would be between 1-2 hours. I have plenty of experience tutoring students of varying age groups and academic levels, and I am currently undertaking my PGCE to become a maths teacher. The lessons would be for those between Year 7 and Year 13, but if you have a student outside of this age range that you think would benefit from the sessions, please drop me a message.
