About Liyana
I am an ex City of London worker, who is currently between jobs. I have a lot of spare time right now and I find tutoring to be a natural side hustle. Back in high school, I understood how frustrating it is to simply practise mathematics without anyone explaining the relevance of it. Now as I’ve entered the workforce, a lot of maths learnt in the past comes in handy as there are many real life examples in finance.

To make maths more fun and logical, I can help explain with real life examples so it can be helpful when trying to understand some mathematical concepts. Length of the lesson is up to students - 40 minutes to an hour would be ideal. I have taught English lessons to primary students but am happy to work with secondary students as well since I graduated with a BA Economics in 2021.
