About Izzie
I am a Senior at the Chicago Academy for the Arts and am currently in AP Calculus AB. I am an AP and honors student, and I am a very personable, patient, and down to earth person. I have experience with special needs kids as well. Since the sixth grade, I have only received A's on my report cards in all subjects including mathematics. I have a little sister in 7th grade who I help regularly with Math.

I start by understanding what the student knows and needs help with, and go from there. Defining terms, step by step solving, going through practice problems, taking notes, etc, I do it all! I can come up with lesson plans on my own (ex. teach me the Pythagorean theorem!) , or help with an assignment (ex. I need more help with graphing linear functions...) and I can tailor my lesson to the student's needs.
