About Danqing
I am a third-year Earth Scientist and have always been a math lover. I received systematic math training back in China, excelled in school, self-studied advanced univ math/physics and passed the AP exams. Math and physics are also covered in our degree course, which I have to deal with every day. Though I am an international student, I have confidence in my language and teaching ability.
The reason why I wish to be a tutor is that I understand how people (including me sometimes) may struggle with math/physics. But actually, with some external help, I can use simple methods and strategies to deal with the situation. I hope everyone could get over the frustration with STEM subjects and get the score they want.

I would use easy examples to introduce the topic, explain the concepts and theorems in detail, and then focus on practising. The entire process will be very logical and easy to follow. It will also be flexible if you wish to aim at a higher level of proficiency. Before and after the classes, exercises will be provided (not mandatory), aiming at consolidating what you have learned. Every class should be about 1h-1.5h in length.
I scored 5/5 on Calculus, Physics (Mechanics and Electromagnetism) and Chemistry in AP exams(Advanced Placement exams, an American system, equivalent to if not higher than A-level). I achieved a distinction and a 2:1 in my first and second-year final exams. I also tutored several applicants to the University of Oxford last Dec. to help them with their interviews.
My lessons are for students aged 14-18 with any level of mathematic/physical ability and a strong need/urge to master them.
