About Emily
I have recently completed a Primary Education PGCE with a specialism in Early Years age 3-7. I have previous experience working with children as a forest school facilitator and kids yoga instructor.
As part of my PGCE qualification I have worked in reception and year 2 and been responsible for planning and teaching a wide variety of subjects in line with the Early Years Foundation Stages and Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
I have worked with children with Special Educational needs to support their learning particularly in areas of phonics, reading, writing and maths.
I believe in a collaborative approach to learning where children are free to express their thoughts, opinions and ask questions.

I am a recent PGCE graduate with experience working with children age 3-7 and a good understanding of the national curriculum.
My lessons can look at a subject of your choosing and can use a variety of tools and techniques to find the best way for your child to access learning and make significant progress.
I can support reading and writing development, through phonics, as well as maths, art, science, drama, history or geography aligned with the KS1 currciulum.
I can offer lessons in person or online for 30 minutes - 1.5 hours and will use interesting presentations and resources, and engaging activities to help them to learn and develop in a fun way.
