About Sophie
I currently work full time in a primary school working mainly with year 1 and year 2 children on a 1:1 basis.
I have a 1st Class Honours Degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies and I have extensive experience working with children in early years settings and primary schools.
I support children in Phonics, English, Maths, Guided Reading and Writing. I work with children who need additional support and I am highly experienced in SEN children and behavioural support.

I support children with additional needs (SEN) or may require 1:1 support at school, encouraging and praising, pushing for development and progression and enhancing motivation through their learning.
My lesson approach will be child centred with clear targets to work towards. My approach will include a lot of repetition to ensure all information provided is embedded and following lessons will include a brief recap of the lesson before.
