About Tom
I am a graduate in MEng Computer Science from Durham university who has progressed into mathematics teaching and working towards my PGCE at the University of Manchester. Mathematics has been my passion throughout school achieving grade A* and A in my maths and further A-Levels. I have also achieved other prestigious awards such as UKMT gold certificates, qualifying for the British Mathematics Olympiad and being invited to Oxford university for a summer school whilst attending an average state school.

I can offer any length of lesson between 30-120mins for ages 11-18. Whilst primarily trained in teaching mathematics I also have a masters degree in computer science so can tutor either subject.
During the past year I have taught three 8 week placements in several schools around the Manchester area and am looking to take on some clients before starting my first teaching post in September
I can either offer one off exam tune up sessions or ideally offering a summer holiday course to help you or your child tune up ready for starting back in September either in KS3/4 or getting ahead when transitioning from GCSE to A-Level.
