About Izzie
I achieved an A* in A Level English Literature and have just received a first at the end of the second year of my BA degree. I have tutored A Level English Literature through the MyTutor platform for a year and a half. I also volunteer as an English Literature mentor for 'SHAPED,' a university organisation that supports academic development. In the summer of 2018 I volunteered to teach English and social sciences at HVP-Nepal's charity run school in Kathmandu.

My teaching method is geared towards GCSE and A Level students ready to take an active role in their learning. They are structured in a discussion-based way which encourages students to share their own ideas in a text-centred approach. This fosters creativity, confidence and independence.
