About Luke
I have a 2:1 in Maths from the University of Nottingham and an MSc (Merit) in Maths from Durham University, specialising in pure maths and probability. I love Maths and always have, and I plan on returning to academia at some point in the future. I work and have worked in hybrid finance/tech roles since leaving university as a financial modelling analyst, actuary and behavioural modelling analyst.

I have 1.5 years of full-time tutoring experience through GoStudent, and a further year of tutoring experience freelance and through the Tutor The Nation charity. My teaching methodology revolves around asking questions of increasing difficulty and scope with the aim of getting students to think independently and in-depth on the topics, but tutoring is a 2-way street and without engagement this method is particularly difficult. Typical lessons are 55min or 1hr25min depending on student preference and will take place in person (central or west London or online, depending on preference and location).
