About Solomon
I am currently studying for an MA in Comparative Literature at UCL. Before that, I earned a BA in English Literature from Durham University. I plan to continue my studies, get a PhD, and become an academic. At every level, I have achieved high grades. I earned an 8 in English literature and a 9 in English Language at GCSE, an A in English Literature at A level, and a 2:1 at Durham University (the highest ranked English department in the country when I studied there). As it has only been a few years since I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels, I know first-hand how tough they can be. Amidst a high number of exams and targets, I hope my approach can refresh my student's enjoyment of literature and give them a chance to excel at the same time.

The best teachers know two things: Every student is different and every student, when taught properly, can achieve at a higher level than they thought possible. My teaching approach is simple. Through a FREE 30-minute consultation call, I aim to establish a relationship with my students, understand their goals from working with me, and set a path forward for their success. Sessions from then on can be online or in-person. Depending on your preferences, they can also be half an hour or an hour long. (In-person sessions, available exclusively in the Greater London area, will come with a £5 extra charge to cover travel costs). Studying English Literature and English Language should be fun, a process of discovery for both student and teacher. Whether at A-Level or GCSE, my students will use close reading, the study of essay questions, and free-form discussions to enrich their understanding of texts. Lesson Costs: Online: £17 (30min), £25 (Hour) In-Person: £20 (30 Min)+ £5 travel fees, £30 (Hour) + £5 travel fees
