About Orlando
I hold a math Ph.D. from Duke University where I routinely tutored, TA'd, and even taught Calculus courses as a graduate student instructor. Before my time at Duke I also tutored as a Master's student at Wake Forest University, and as an undergraduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill. Overall, I have been tutoring for 10+ years. My lessons are for anyone who wants to learn material in a way that focuses on understanding concepts as opposed to memorization. My goal in the first session is to identify the main the gaps that a student might have. From there, we work together to figure out how to best address these gaps in a way that works for that particular student. Some students need tailored practice problems, other students more time to go over the theory. Whatever it is for that student, I'm here to help!
