About Melissa
I am a certified elementary teacher in both New York state and Florida as well as an ESE teacher for grades k-12. I have a a bachelor’s degree in education from SUNY Plattsburgh and also a dual Masters degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University. I am have also taught pre-k students and music for an elementary school.

Learning should be fun and my goal as a teacher is to let my students learn to be lifelong learners. I have been teaching for over ten years and have a Dual Masters degree in curriculum and instruction in education. I also have been teaching students with various disabilities and always work with student strengths and increase student confidence and boost retention of content. I use many forms of multi-modality types of instruction to really engage students. Each of us are unique and teach to that philosophy.
