About Mauro
I consider myself a versatile teacher. I have a lot of patience and I put a lot of energy into each meeting. I have been working as a drum teacher for more than 7 years and I find a lot of satisfaction in the profession.
We are going to learn how to read and write music. To have access to more information. We will work with iconic drum books (Gary Chaffee), Syncopation; Stick Control, The Art of Bebop Drumming; etc).
Face-to-face classes: We are going to have fun playing a lot on two drum sets (Villa Crespo CABA).
Online classes: Only with sticks we can start, and we werok on drum charts, coordination, we play on the track, and we will learn to use the metronome.
I really like working with initial students, because I can develop the student's technique from the beginning, and mold the playing of the instrument according to the musical styles indicated.
My goal is through repetition, to be able to play what we propose and travel the musical path with joy!
With intermediate or advanced students. I try to use study methodologies different from the ones they have been using, to provide a lot of information on the repertoire, bases and fills. This way we expand the language and go through rhythms that they would not have imagined.

[N ] We embrace music as a language of communication and expression. Working meticulously in the different techniques to play the instruments in a healthy way, always taking care of the body.
Develop patience for the process that your body has and requires, to incorporate new techniques and different rhythms. The results are always premature and surprising, if we focus on improving weaknesses and then let the body rest so that muscle memory does its work.
As in learning each language, you will understand how to read and write music on sheet music. Transcribe the songs you like and finally be able to compose for your projects.
Progress with a method that encompasses all hand-foot coordination combinations. Study long term to use this technique playing the style you want, and your body responds.
Taking care of the body is extremely important. Playing the drums is art, discipline and sport. And with that approach we work with routines to warm up the muscles, relax them, and stretch them properly. Playing with the correct techniques under supervision prevents unnecessary injuries and pain.
I focus on the broad style of rock, and for that we seek to expand the language with Latin rhythms, national folklore, funk, pop, and jazz. To understand in this way how the iconic rock drummers play from John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Dave Grohl (Nirvana), Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats), Black Amaya (Rabid Fish), among others.
Classes for all ages: it is never too late or too early to start playing drums, or to take private lessons, or better yet Re-take them.
