About Dan
Hi! I'm Dan, a tutor of Biology and associated subjects based in Manchester and online. My approach to tutoring is dynamic, I work with you and your needs. Struggling to get to grips with a topic? Want to achieve those top grades at GCSE/A Level or Undergraduate Level? With my commitment to creative and practical lessons, we can get there. I am a friendly and hard-working individual, with experience teaching young people about science-based subjects as well as practical experiments. My practical experience, as well as my Master's and BSc degrees make me committed and driven, but also well equipped to make our lessons count. I offer a full lesson plan and timetable for students, setting us goals and clear deadlines for your future.

My approach to tutoring is dynamic and tailored to each individual's needs. My teaching methods are centred around specific curriculum, including creative approaches to topics, exam practice, essay writing workshops and revision assistance. If you are struggling to grasp a topic, or can't quite get those top marks in an essay, we can work together to achieve what you need. Lessons range from 40 minutes to 1 hour depending on the student's requirements. Students are welcomed from GCSE level, A Level and Undergraduate Level. I have experience as a science instructor with a Sheffield-based charity, making science accessible for young people. This required a driven, committed approach and confidence in teaching young people content as well as practical experiments. As well as high levels of experience across topics during my Master's degree in Drug Discovery Science and my Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry.
