About Georgia
I am a Multidisciplinary Artist, Facilitator and Researcher, with a practice that spans various creative fields. I love honouring the natural process of being curious about something, following that interest, and then discovering how it applies to the world and our experiences of it! In 2019, I completed an Erasmus Intensive Traineeship in Poland with European Centre for Theatre Practices, Gardzienice. I graduated from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance in 2020, with a First Class BA (Hons) in European Theatre Arts (Training the Contemporary Performer). My training and studies have helped me to develop an in-depth and applied understanding of theatre and performance. Whilst delivering project outcomes, I have had to research and share information, reflect upon and analyse other people's work, and ensure clear communication of information. A developed sense of compassion and humble curiosity supports my engagement with these kinds of tasks. A wide range of disciplines and stimuli influence my sessions. I draw from these elements to provide a bespoke service, enhance creative confidence in the learning environment, and help individuals develop how they communicate and express their ideas. I have four years' experience working with an outdoor Alternative Provision, providing learning, enrichment and growth for young people through nature-immersion and play. During this time, I have worked with preschoolers to college students, but I specialise in working with young people between the ages of 6-16.

As a facilitator and tutor, I am driven to help others find joy in their experience of learning too. I offer sessions specifically tailored to you and your needs, so please get in touch if you would like to collaborate on a learning plan, or I am happy to accommodate if you have something specific in mind. By tailoring each session's content to support the individual's interests and requirements, my teaching method is both practical and personalised. My classes are focused on encouraging embodied interpretations of original and written material. We will use an array of exercises, mostly rooted in somatic practices, for playful psycho-physical explorations. I base my workshops and classes on the work of practitioners who approach performance through holistic processes and provide the performer with exercises to develop their performative agency, working to unlock their unique scenic presence. I approach each topic by first briefly defining its key terms. Next, to develop an embodied understanding of the foundations, these terms are physically explored through exercises. The main body of my classes is focused on guiding students through selected explorations to aid development in their desired area of study (audition material, character development, acting and performance technique, relaxation and awareness, embodied writing, devising, etc.). To ensure that what has been investigated is practically integrated for students, most sessions will end with an applied warm-down, meditation or debrief. Each individual will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and receive feedback on their contributions within the session. Session suggestions: - Creative Coaching (all ages) - Performance Coaching (all ages) - Audition Prep (all ages) - Reading & Writing (Primary) - Research & Revision (Secondary)

Georgia has helped me write essays, prepare performances and theatre pieces during the 3 years of drama school and is an extremely patient and efficient teacher when both in academia and everything else!
Georgia has a 1st Degree in European Theatre Arts in which she trained as both a performer and creative facilitator. Her personable and enigmatic approach to teaching and facilitation will carry her students and collaborators through the process of learning with clarity and motivation. Georgia easily explains complex ideas into digestible and relatable language that takes away the more daunting elements of academia.
Georgia is a phenomenal teacher and tutor. She is well versed in many subjects and is always engaged and empathetic when teaching. I have known Georgia for many years and she has helped me on countless occasions to understand and unpack complex ideas and theories in layman's terms. Georgia's ability to adapt her facilitation methods for each learner is top notch and certainly a massive benefit to those learning. I couldn't recommend Georgia enough.
Georgia has an unbelievable combination of both expansive academic knowledge and a endless creativity. I would recommend her highly!
I am Owner and Director at an outdoor Out of School Setting. Georgia joined our team in October 2019.
She operates as a Facilitator and has received training on-going since starting.
We are an unusual setting offering outdoor education to a large age range of young people, from age 5 and up.
Attendees have differing needs, including those with additional needs.
I have found Georgia to be incredibly resourceful in such an environment, and has a huge capacity to learn as she goes, with incredible initiative.
She has become in less than a year, an invaluable member of our team whom we can depend and rely upon.
Her capacity to engage with the children spans many skills: she is sensitive to the differing needs of individual children; she is responsive to any issue that may arise; she is conscientious, diligent and professional in her endeavours; she honours agreements and highlights where more work or effort needs to be done.View more recommendations
