About Ava
"Should learning be an exercise in memorization or a process of building mental maps? I reject the idea of teaching math as a list of disconnected rules. My lessons integrate algebra and probability into a coherent framework using the quantitative methods I mastered during my Data Science degree. I provide concept maps shared for every chapter to ensure you visualize the relationships between disparate topics.
Whether we are doing SAT or ACT math prep or tackling high school calculus I maintain a high standard of rigor. These sessions move at a pace determined by your ability to grasp the core mechanics of each topic. We rely on the synergy between math and data science to improve your exam performance."

My 12 years of experience covers 120 students who required a technical upgrade in their mathematical performance. Conceptual learning is the only way to retain complex information for high stakes testing. I leverage my academic journey to demystify trigonometry and statistics for my students.
