About Tom
I have recently submitted my doctoral thesis on the films of Paul Verhoeven and Deleuzian philosophy. I have a broad knowledge of film and screen studies and specialist knowledge of Hollywood cinema and the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze. I have taught classes at undergraduate level on film theory, critical theory, film and narrative, I have given lectures on films aesthetics and aspect ratios, and I have tutored students one on one to help them understand and apply Deleuzian concepts. I am an associate fellow of the higher education academy.
