About Erin A
My background is a M.S. in Clinical Psychology, and I'm in my final year of doctoral studies, but I studied English as an undergrad and became a published author last year! This pivot actually developed my passion for coaching, education, or one-on-one support. I'm passionate about meeting people where they are, honoring how they think and learn, and creating a space where curiosity is welcomed and progress feels achievable. My neurodivergent perspective means I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—and my students don't have to either.

Teaching Method & Techniques
My approach is collaborative and conversational — we learn with each other, not in a one-way lecture format. Wherever possible, I incorporate project-based learning so concepts connect to real, meaningful outcomes rather than staying abstract.
Typical Lesson Plan
Each session follows a clear arc: we open by exploring the lesson objectives together, move into the core content through discussion and guided discovery, check for understanding along the way, and close with hands-on practice to reinforce new skills.
What Sets Me Apart
As a neurodivergent tutor, I bring firsthand insight into how diverse minds learn. I naturally adapt my explanations, pacing, and structure to meet you where you are — making me especially effective for neurodivergent learners who may not have thrived in traditional academic settings.
Who These Lessons Are For
My lessons welcome students at all degree levels — from foundational coursework to graduate-level study. Whether you're building basics or tackling advanced material, sessions are tailored to your specific goals, learning style, and pace.
