About Paris
I am a student currently undertaking a BA degree in English literature at the University of York. I have 2 years worth of 1 to 1 tutoring under my belt, helping students of ages 14-18 achieve their full potential and excel in their subjects.

My way of teaching is very much tailored to each individual pupil. I think it’s important to build up a rapport with your students in order to fully understand their way of learning and what works best for them. From experience, once a student understands the content, exam technique and practise papers have always proved very effective ways of ensuring exam success. I work especially hard to ensure that all of my students understand the demands of their syllabus fully - intrinsic to achieving top marks.
Whether you need me to proofread essays, comprise essay plans, explain terminology or key literary concepts I approach each need with professionalism and enthusiasm - I genuinely want to help as many people as possible to achieve the grades they want and deserve!
