I personally fellow some essential traits as a educator.
Firstly I am always ready to learn because learning is very powerful tool and once you stop learning you start dying.
I don't say that i am the best educator or teacher but yeah i am true learner and listener. For me Learning is activity which needs good communication skills, clear mind and vision, enthusiasm, and lastly self motivation.
Secondly, I also want to add something important here that just of because I am having lots of degrees and certificates, doesn't mean that I am so knowledgeable and competent in every subject or field but yeah i believe that the pure knowledge i gained throughout my whole career and life is something unique, that is a true amalgamation of my self taught skills and experiences.
Lastly i would say fun loving, caring, having proficient computer skills and using gentle/possitive reinforcement methods are good traits of an educator. I personally fellow these points whenever it comes to teaching and educating students.
