About Rob
I’m a practical, hands-on developer with over a decade of experience in coding, building websites, and working with data and integrations. I’ve spent 8+ years in professional software development using PHP, JavaScript, HTML and SQL, alongside freelance work creating real projects for clients.
I have extensive experience in APIs and integrations and have built connections with platforms like Xero and other SaaS tools. I also have strong CRM system knowledge and a solid understanding of business logic and automation, so I can not only teach coding concepts but also give guidance on real business projects, system design, or automation ideas, helping you understand how to apply these skills in practice.

My approach is practical and student-led. I start by figuring out where you’re at, what you’re trying to do, and what’s currently confusing or broken. From there we work through real examples together, focusing on understanding rather than memorising patterns or copying code blindly.
I don’t follow a fixed syllabus. Lessons adapt to the student. We might debug existing code, build something small from scratch, or untangle concepts that never quite clicked.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I’m flexible if shorter or longer sessions make more sense.
Suitable for beginners, self-taught developers, students, and adults returning to coding. No age limit.
