About Mina
Math and science related subjects are not easy on everyone. I personally struggled when I was younger and with experience, I learned that it was because I was never taught the basics the right way. Having someone talk at you through a class in a simplified manner without taking the time to explain things is miserable. I strongly believe when students are given the right tools and methods to understand and absorb the content, every subsequent topic will be easier to understand because they all build on each other.

The lessons are tailored to every student's needs. Basing the content on the curriculum they have and the challenges at hand, I will work through every problem with the student to allow them to understand and reason their way through science and use practice problems to enforce the knowledge. I have been through it all- from middle school levels of education to graduate classes. I allow the student to choose what works for them and help them make analogies that will stick with them for life. My past experience includes tutoring students of all ages up to the high school level and helping others prepare for MCAT and DAT tests.
