About Danyal
I'm Danyal, a 2nd year Dental Student at Barts and The London. I chose to start tutoring because I know how challenging science subjects and university applications can feel without the right guidance. Having recently gone through the process myself, I want to support students in building their knowledge, confidence, and exam technique. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy—it’s rewarding to see students progress and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach.

As a 2nd year Dental Student at Barts and The London, I bring both academic expertise and real-world experience to my tutoring. I provide tailored lessons in GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, as well as university admissions support for Medicine and Dentistry applicants. My teaching approach is student-focused and adaptable. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps, using active recall, exam-style questions, and spaced repetition to reinforce learning. For interview and UCAT preparation, I focus on building confidence through realistic mock sessions, honest feedback, and structured frameworks. Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes long and are tailored to suit the student's needs—whether that’s reinforcing school content, preparing for exams, or building application strategy. I work with students aged 14+ and support all ability levels, from those aiming to boost grades to high achievers targeting competitive university courses. Above all, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and results-driven.
