About Deke
I absolutely love teaching about biology and zoology. It is very much one of my main talking points. I try to be as lenient, patient, and fun as possible when teaching in such areas. I try to find videos to help students better understand what they are learning about, and use methods and teaching tips from my own professors in college.

Hello, my name is Deke Smith. I am a college student at Evergreen Valley College, majoring in biology. I can teach high school level biology and provide journals. Biology is my passion, and I hope to make it other students' passion. I love zoology and marine biology especially. I prefer to have fun with my students and give them hands-on experiments and experiences. A typical lesson plan would be a lesson or two in the provided book, answering questions and writing down keywords and definitions in the journal, recapping, every now and then an experiment and/or a hands-on project. My experience in biology and zoology comes from college classes, taxidermy, and field studies.
