About Chantel
I am an Acting and Confidence Coach with over 20 years of experience in performance and training. I hold a Degree in Drama and have worked alongside West End and Hollywood professionals across theatre, television, directing, and choreography.
I am the Founder of The West End Experience, an Elite West End performance programme designed to develop stage presence, confidence, and high-level performance skills. I have also run my own theatre school and have extensive experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults.
Over the years, I have supported students in preparing for LAMDA examinations, auditions, drama school entry, public speaking opportunities, and personal confidence development.
My clients often describe me as supportive, patient, and encouraging, while also helping them push beyond their comfort zone in a structured and positive way.
I believe that anyone can learn to perform and speak with confidence when given the right guidance, encouragement, and technique.
My goal is to help each student develop not only their skills, but also their self-belief and stage presence.
Whether you are preparing for exams, improving performance skills, or building confidence in everyday communication, I tailor every lesson to suit the individual’s level, goals, and needs.

Teaching Style & Methodology
My approach is supportive, structured, and confidence-focused. I combine professional acting technique with practical coaching tools to help students develop both skill and self-belief.
I believe that anyone can learn to act, perform, and speak confidently with the right guidance and encouragement. My sessions are designed to build technique step by step while also strengthening presence, expression, and mindset.
Depending on the student’s goals, I use practical acting exercises, character development techniques, voice and articulation work, performance analysis and feedback, confidence-building strategies, mock exam practice for LAMDA, audition preparation techniques, and acting through song guidance.
My coaching style is nurturing and patient, but I gently challenge students to step outside their comfort zone in a way that makes them feel confident and empowered. I've found that the most growth happens when students feel supported and encouraged.
Typical Lesson Length
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but longer sessions (90 minutes) can be arranged for intensive LAMDA preparation, audition work, or performance coaching.
All of my sessions are delivered online, allowing flexibility and accessibility for students worldwide.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Degree in Drama and have over 20 years of experience in performance training.
I have worked alongside West End and Hollywood professionals, and I have worked across theatre, television, directing, and choreography. I am also the Founder of The West End Experience, an Elite West End Performance Programme designed to build stage presence, confidence and prepare students for the industry.
In addition, I have run my own theatre school, taught LAMDA preparation, delivered public speaking coaching, and worked with children, teens, and adults to develop performance confidence.
My background combines professional industry training with extensive teaching and coaching experience.
