About Kanishka
Hello! My name is Kanishka, and I am passionate about teaching and helping students develop confidence in their learning. I have been working as an online tutor, teaching English and Mathematics to school students and supporting them in improving their academic performance.
I enjoy explaining concepts in a simple and clear way so that students can truly understand what they are learning. My strengths as a tutor include patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt lessons based on each student’s needs and pace of learning.
I particularly enjoy helping students who may find certain subjects challenging and guiding them step by step until they feel confident solving problems independently. Seeing students improve their understanding and become more comfortable with their studies is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me.
Outside of tutoring, I am a student who enjoys learning, researching, and developing new ideas. I believe education should be engaging and supportive, and I strive to create a positive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore their potential.

I believe that every student can excel when concepts are explained clearly and learning is made engaging. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students complete their schoolwork but also to build strong foundational skills, confidence, and independent thinking.
I teach English and Mathematics to students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 through personalized online lessons. My approach focuses on helping students truly understand concepts instead of simply memorizing answers. In English, I work on reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing skills, and clear communication. In Mathematics, I focus on step-by-step explanations, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies so students can approach questions with confidence.
Each class is structured to make learning effective and engaging. I usually begin with a short revision of previous topics, followed by clear explanations of new concepts with examples. Students then practice through exercises, worksheets, and guided problem-solving activities to strengthen their understanding. I also include regular revision and feedback so that students can steadily improve.
What makes my teaching different is my focus on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I adjust my teaching style according to the student’s pace and learning style so that every child feels comfortable asking questions and participating in the lesson. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, and confident in their abilities.
These classes are ideal for school students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 who want extra support in English or Mathematics, improve their academic performance, or strengthen their core academic skills.
