About Daisy
I'm a dedicated, passionate, and inclusive tutor that strives to create a positive and comfortable learning environment. My main priority will always be to help you feel confident in your own abilities and skills. I absolutely love teaching and tutoring because it gives me more of a chance to really cater the lessons to what you need and also what you want to get out of the lessons. I've found that a 1-on-1 lesson really allows me to build a great, trusting tutor-student relationship, and I love seeing my students grow in confidence and ability over time. I'm genuinely really easy to get on with and will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Some of my hobbies include going to the theatre or the cinema, reading and writing, music, and any sort of board game or video game!

I always ensure to personalise and tailor my lessons to suit each individual student's goals, needs, and learning style. Using a variety of teaching tools (including PowerPoints, quizzes, games, and videos) allows me to provide an interactive and comfortable space to learn for everyone involved. My lessons are usually 50 minutes, but I am available for double lessons if needed. I am available for tutoring primary-level English, KS3, KS4, and TEFL-related tutoring for all ages. I have had many students from each age group over the years. I have also worked directly with children both as a nanny and as a volunteer, where my first priority has always been the development and welfare of the children that I work with. As a qualified TEFL teacher with over 2 years of experience as a tutor, I have an amazing skill set to give students the learning experience and the help that they need. For further information about the breadth of knowledge that I have, I also have a Diploma of Higher Education in Zoology from the University of Chester, and I am currently studying my BA Arts and Humanities (Creative Writing) course with the Open University. I am fully DBS-checked and on the update system.

Daisy has been a nanny for almost two years and has provided exceptional therapeutic care for children of a variety of ages. She has been tutoring online for years with exceptional results.
Daisy worked with my 8 year old daughter on her times tables. This was an area she was really struggling with and lacked confident. Daisy was amazing with her. She made the sessions fun and interactive and her progression was amazing. She was always on time and had a very friendly approach. I would 100% recommend.
Daisy is an extremely capable tutor. She takes her time to help develop students “weaknesses” and to build up their strengths. She takes time with every student to make sure they get the best grades they can.
