About Joseph
I'll be honest — I really struggled in school. Maths felt like a wall of rules I had to memorise without really understanding any of it. That changed when I sat down with my maths teacher, who told me something that stuck with me ever since: understanding why something works is more important than knowing how to do it. I took that advice and applied it to everything. My grades flew, my curiosity grew, and maths stopped being something I feared and started being something I genuinely enjoyed.
That's exactly how I intend to teach. Maths has a way of figuring itself out once you understand the reasoning behind it — and what fascinates me is that most equations can be proven in multiple ways. There's rarely just one path to an answer. My goal is to find the path that makes sense to you, build your confidence, and turn maths from something daunting into something that actually clicks.
