About Brittany
I have 17 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Science in Mathematics. Throughout my career, I have worked with students ranging from middle school learners to university students, helping them overcome academic challenges through structured guidance and supportive instruction. My greatest motivation comes from seeing students realize they are capable of solving problems they once believed were impossible.
One learner struggled with rational expressions because previous work with fractions and factorization lacked consistency. We strengthened those prerequisite skills through targeted review sessions, daily practice, and regular assessments before introducing more advanced algebraic techniques. The student's confidence steadily improved, resulting in outstanding examination performance and a genuine interest in mathematics.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students develop a deep understanding of algebra by connecting every new concept to previously learned ideas. Students receive comprehensive instruction in algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, coordinate geometry, functions, graphing, exponents, radicals, polynomials, rational expressions, factorization, quadratic equations, sequences, and systems of equations. Every topic is explained through multiple examples, guided discussions, and structured practice that encourage students to recognize mathematical patterns and apply concepts confidently in unfamiliar situations.
To make algebra meaningful, I integrate practical applications from business, economics, engineering, computer science, and everyday decision-making. Students participate in collaborative activities, reasoning exercises, and real-world problem solving that strengthen logical thinking and mathematical communication. Regular revision and cumulative assessments ensure earlier concepts remain secure while supporting long-term retention.
Students preparing for school examinations, board exams, SAT, ACT, university entrance tests, or competitive examinations receive customized revision schedules, topic-specific practice papers, and individualized examination strategies. Continuous progress monitoring, detailed feedback, and carefully selected assignments help students maximize both accuracy and confidence.
