About Michael
I was a classroom teacher for over 20 years, and my final 10 years were spent teaching AP Macro and AP US Government and Politics. My students had the highest scores on the AP exam in the district and ranked in the top quartile in the nation.
I believe the understanding of economics is essential for being a good citizen and an educated member of our society. My gift is explaining difficult concepts in a simplified and easily understood manner. I often told my students that an understanding of economics will change the way you look at the world and help you make more rational choices in your own life. I can help you master this subject.

I prepare my lessons tailored to your professor's syllabus and your specific questions. I will use your course materials and problems provided by your professors to teach you to identify key words and concepts being tested and to apply a step-by-step process to earning the highest score on each question. You will provide me with your points of confusion prior to each lesson so I can develop a clear, targeted lesson to address your learning needs. I will incorporate online materials and provide a one-pager on each topic with videos and a summary for review prior to testing.
My services will be best suited for those needing help with college introductory courses (Macro and Micro) or high school students taking AP classes.
