About Sarah
I grew up using primarily ASL learned from Deaf individuals immersed in my local community. I have an Associate's degree in American Sign Language from community college and will be getting my Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies: Cultural Studies, Minor in Anthropology from CSU Northridge. Will be attending Gallaudet University for Graduate school in 2021.

I prefer to teach one on one because it allows more personal connection and a way to find the students learning style so the can succeed. I would teach primarily via zoom, voices off, only using sign language or referencing presentation/document/picture. Lesson structure will be built around the student and to fit both of our schedules. Depending on the students signing level we may start at the very beginning or at any level. Signing Naturally book will be used as references and would be good to have but not at all required.
