About Harold
I am Deaf all my life, I love to teach, tutor, & help people to learn ASL. I have been teaching a lot of people from kids, high school, college to adult. I help some people to reach their goal of becoming an interpreter, pass their grades in high school or college, & becoming better signers.

My teaching approach is online via Google Meet. I use the Signing Naturally book in my slides to teach. I can have a conversation with students to practice their signing or tutor them to improve their signing skills for their class.

Perfect! Harold is incredible. He’s become a great friend and I’ve learned over 400 words in 4 months.
Perfect! Harold is a fantastic teacher of American Sign Language and I am so very lucky to have found him! I have been taking weekly lessons with him for 6 months now to preserve my ASL knowledge in between instructional classes. He has been instrumental in helping me maintain focus.
Perfect! Highly recommend Harold as an ASL teacher. He has a set curriculum that works well for me. We practice weekly, review, and have homework assignments that are helpful. I am pleased with my progress!

Perfect! I have learned so much with Harold. He is a very cool instructor and he won't let you give up!! I appreciate his patience as well as his sense of humor. Perfect! Harold is super cool and funny. He's more relaxed and conversational as opposed to a typical school teacher who has an agenda for the hour. I love that I can just ask questions and get real, in-time answers. I think he's a great teacher if you're a driven learner. Would recommend.
Perfect! Harold is excellent at meeting you at your skill level and encouraging growth. He has well planned instruction with many opportunities to practice new concepts, and he always prioritizes and makes space for exploring any questions. When I’m having trouble understanding him or vice versa, Harold is patient and resourceful. I always have a lot of fun in his classes, and I’m learning so much!

Harold is a great teacher! If you want to improve your sign language skills, I highly recommend connecting with Harold. He is very patient, kind, and funny! I worked with Harold on a few occasions, and whenever I needed help with learning how to sign something, he always provided insight and explanations in a professional manner.
