About Aneesh
I'm an incoming Data Science major at UC Irvine with 3 years of experience in online math volunteer tutoring. I was awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award by LearnToBe Nonprofit for my commitment to student learning. My qualifications include being a National Merit Commended Scholar, scoring 5s on the AP Statistics and AP Precalculus exams, and achieving a 780 SAT Math score.

-My teaching method involves active student engagement as well as explaining concepts in depth before attempting problems, making sure that math is understood rather than memorized.
- A typical lesson plan would have a conceptual lecture followed by practice problems to cement students' understanding of the material, and can also help with students' homework as well as test preparation.
- As a student myself, I empathize with students when they struggle with concepts, allowing me to develop a peer-based relationship with those I tutor.
- These lessons are for middle & high school students taking either pre-algebra, algebra, or algebra 2.
