About Daya
I am a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in Maths and Science, supported by my experience as a Data Science Intern. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a way that feels clear, manageable, and encouraging.
My approach is calm and supportive while staying focused on real progress. I care deeply about helping students grow in confidence, develop strong learning habits, and feel more capable when facing challenging subjects. Every student learns differently, so I take time to understand their needs and guide them in a way that works best for them.
I take preparation and consistency seriously, and I aim to create lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking independently, and steadily improving. Supporting their development, both academically and personally, is always my priority.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive, engaging, and stress-free learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I believe understanding comes best when learning is interactive and enjoyable, so I always aim to make lessons both effective and fun.
Before lessons officially begin, the first session is a relaxed get to know you meeting. During this time, I learn about the student’s goals, challenges, and which topics they find most difficult. This helps me plan lessons that are truly personalized and targeted to their needs.
Each class starts with a short quiz to check understanding and track progress. This is purely for learning purposes. There is no pressure or judgment. It simply helps me see where the student is and what we should focus on next.
Instead of assigning homework, I end every lesson with a short reflection session. Students review what they learned, explain key ideas in their own words, and identify anything they are still unsure about. This strengthens understanding and helps knowledge stay longer.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long. I strongly believe shorter, consistent sessions are more effective than very long ones. One hour of focused learning keeps students attentive and prevents mental fatigue, though sessions up to 90 minutes can be arranged if needed.
My teaching materials are based on school textbooks, past year papers, and trial exam papers for school students and open source materials for matriculation and bachelor's students. Students will receive lesson materials in advance so they can preview the content before class. I place strong emphasis on mastering past and trial papers, as they are essential for exam preparation and confidence building.
I have a strong background in Mathematics, Statistics, and Science through my work as a Data Science Intern, and I apply analytical and structured thinking to help students from primary till secondary understand concepts clearly.
To ensure smooth and productive lessons, students are expected to be punctual and ready to begin on time.
