About Nevin
I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2023 with a BA in Data Science, where I studied Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Data Analysis & Visualization. I have experience tutoring children at my local elementary school and experience tutoring college students in office hours, so I am confident I'll be able to find a teaching style which suits you. I can help you through assignments and personal projects at the K-12 and college level. The more you tell me about what you'd like to work on and what your learning style is, the more I can customize the session for you – this is a team effort. Professional Experience: I have Agile, Git (version control), and full-stack experience at Visa using Java and React to build web-apps for internal security processes. I have iOS, Python, and AWS (web hosting) experience at a startup as a co-founder.

A session typically consists of working through an assignment or personal project, but I can also help you start a project or introduce new concepts and tools.
We will also identify areas of struggle, find strategies to overcome them, and practice those strategies. We identify areas of struggle either in conversation or by working through assignments or projects together.
I can craft custom lesson plans based on your needs, what you'd like to work on, and what your learning style is. I can also bring practice problems / materials or you can provide your own. The more information you give me, the more I can customize the session for you – this is a team effort.
