About Katie
With 15 years of dancing and acting training and over 5 years of teaching experience, I understand that confidence is one of the most important skills for a dancer to master. My main goal with each lesson is to provide students with the tools to improve their craft in a safe and healthy way by speaking with them about their unique strengths and creating understanding surrounding areas they are hoping to improve.

About the lesson

By understanding your specific goals as a dancer and performer, we will spend time developing a warm up and exercises that you can easily replicate in your own practice. Dancers will also have the opportunity to learn a short dance combination completely unique to their style of dance and dance aspirations.
In my lessons, I emphasize professionalism and understanding. It is extremely important to me that you leave your dance lesson feeling encouraged and uplifted!
While lessons follow a similar structure, they can be catered to any skill level and focused on specific goals or styles (ex: improving ballet technique, contemporary floorwork, theatricality in choreography, mastering turns, etc).
