About Amanda
Hi there! I’m Mrs.G, and teaching isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. As someone who struggled in school myself, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate the classroom, especially for students with ADHD and other learning differences. That’s why I pursued a specialized behavior degree—to make sure every child feels seen, supported, and capable of reaching their full potential. With five years of experience teaching K-6, I specialize in language, English grammar, and social studies, but I’ve also enjoyed teaching elementary math. I hold a master’s degree in education, along with ESE certification and a reading endorsement, all of which help me create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Above all, I believe in meeting students where they are, celebrating their strengths, and helping them build confidence in their abilities. My goal is to make learning an engaging and positive experience—because every child deserves to feel successful and valued. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in my students’ lives, just as I once needed someone to do for me.
