I currently work as Lead Teacher at an independent special school specialising in challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties. I work with students across the primary and secondary phases in all National Curriculum subjects. Many of the students I work with come from disadvantaged beginnings and are often behind in the core areas of mathematics and English. I have a wealth of experience enabling learners to close the gaps in their learning by promoting a positive attitude towards learning through making an engaging and accessible curriculum.
I graduated with First Class Honours in Early Primary Education (BAHons) with QTS IN 2014. Since then I have taught learners at various stages of their education including preparation for KS1 and KS2 SATS, Entry Level mathematics, English and ICT, GCSE level mathematics and English and Level 1 and 2 mathematics and English.
