About Autumn
I have always loved learning and even to this day I find ways to continue learning and and outside of the classroom. I want to inspire that love for education in my students. Especially when it comes to math. Although it's a subject that tends to get a lot of hate, I still take time to learn new concepts (mostly physics) by myself and I still love it!

For me, the most important component in teaching is personalized learning and understanding. People learn the fastest when the information is presented to them in a way that suits their thought process... and not everyone has the same process. Although many of the learning styles will be present in my classes, I will emphasize the ones that suit you best. I would say the main thing that sets me apart from other tutors is my patience. I remember how frustrated I was when I started learning Spanish, so I know how important it is to have a calm teacher to guide you back to the challenge at hand. My classes are meant for students between 8-18 years old. Just to clarify, I have also completed all the high school sciences and maths available (including calculus). Although, I prefer to focus on algebra.

Autumn is a very intelligent and brilliant lady. She is a fantastic teacher, as she’s very patient and explains concepts very well. I have seen her in many experiences encouraging others when they are struggling and helping them along. Including myself! I have also seen her teach our younger kids junior high and high school math and helped them out! I highly recommend her as a tutor!
